  Youth Leagues
Monday afternoons 4:15 to 6:15 pm. Registration fees are $200 per student for the full season or $100 per student for a half season (either before or after Christmas). The sessions begin with a warm up to practice the curling slide and balance. Players will then play a curling game and this will evolve into a curling league with fixed teams for the last half of the season beginning in January 2019.
Super League
Monday nights at 7:00 pm. This competitive league is made up of teams of any Female/Male combination. Registration fee is $600 per team. After completion of a Round Robin, playoffs will consist of dividing the total number of teams in half based on their win/loss record. The team that finished first in each pool will play the last place team in their pool; second place plays the second last place; etc. Single knock-out until the winners of each pool are decided.

Christmas
Tuesday and Thursday at 1:30 pm. This league targets adult male and female curlers with any skill level. Registration fee for the Full Season is $300 for 2 days/week of curling. Half season registration either before or after Christmas is $150 for 2 days/week of curling. Those participants who would rather not commit on a regular basis are free to join this afternoon as a drop-in curler for $10 per game. Teams are created each day based on the curlers present. This league offers a great opportunity to meet new people and all levels of curlers including “curling stick” users are welcome. The Rose City Curling Club has a small number of curling sticks available if needed.
Men’s & Women’s League
This league plays on Tuesday evenings at 7:00 pm in a full year round robin format with playoffs at the end. Every team will accumulate points over the course of the year. Registration fee is $300 per person for approximately twenty 8-end games. Teams can be made up of any Female/Male combination and players usually have some curling experience. Spares are welcome.

This non-competitive program is for kids ages 6 to 12 years and teaches the sport of curling. Led by the Augustana Vikings Varsity Curling Team, athletes will have all kinds of fun aiming for the button! A CSA approved helmet is mandatory for Little Rockers. Youth with adequate curling experience looking to advance his or her skill level are encouraged to contact Roger Galenza, RCCC Program Coordinator at (780) 672-4152.

Christmas
This Social League is meant to gather good friends, co-workers and/or family members together for a 6-end game of curling in a non-competitive environment. Registration fees per person for a team of 4 players are $135 before Christmas, $150 after Christmas or $285 for the full season. Families who have children in the Little Rocker or Camrose Academy of Curling programs may want to consider entering a family team. Businesses who have a number of employees may want to consider entering a business team. Friends who just want a social night out may want to consider entering a team. All teams will have a chance to play each other and win/loss records will not be kept. Individuals may register as a single player and they will be placed on a team. Teams can be any combination of males and/or females. No curling experience is required and brooms, sliders and lessons are available if needed.
NEW Mixed Doubles
Wednesday
The Rose City Curling Club will create a Mixed Doubles League if enough interest is shown. We will require at least 4 teams in order to create a league with a round robin draw. Mixed Doubles is a 2-person team that provides curlers an opportunity to play with their best friend, curling adversaries and even spouses. Teams can be mixed, of the same gender, young or mature curlers. Games are approximately 1.25 hours in length and having some curling experience would be useful. New to the Mixed Doubles format? Check out this video from CBC.ca or Curling Canada’s website for a quick overview. Contact the Club Manager if you know of a team that would be interested in joining.
 Youth
Technical Training
Thursday afternoons from 4:15 to 5:15 pm for approximately 10 weeks. Registration fee is $100 per student. These sessions provide technical training on how to curl that focuses on delivery, balance and sweeping. This training is also available for Special Olympics athletes interested in learning more about the sport of curling. Special Olympics athletes click HERE for more information.
Open Team
Thursday evenings from 7:00 to 9:00 pm. Registration fee is $300 per person for approximately twenty 8-end games. This league runs in a full year round robin format with playoffs at the end. Every team will accumulate points over the course of the year. Teams can be made up of any Female/Male combination and players with any skill level can participate. Spares are welcome.
5th or additional players – Any League

A team may consist of more than 4 players. The 5th or additional players are required to register his or her profile but it will be the responsibility of all the team members to divide the total team costs evenly. The Rose City Curling Club will only collect the full registration fees from 4 players on any one team.

The 5th or additional players are not required to submit the Volunteer Fee but are invited to select a volunteer task from the list provided on the registration form.

Spare Registry
All Rose City Curling Club members who are playing in a league are allowed to spare in any other league free of charge. If a curler wishes to spare who is not curling in another league, they will need to register with a curler profile to have their name placed on the spare list for the leagues of their choice. A text box is available on the registration form to note the leagues and/or days of the week they are available to spare. There is no fee to spare. Spares are not required to submit the Volunteer Fee but are invited to select a volunteer task from the list provided on the registration form.
Discount for curling in a second league
A discount of $50 is available for registration in a second league provided that one of the 2 leagues is a full season registration. For example, if you register for Mixed Doubles before Christmas and Men’s & Women’s League for the full season, $50 will be deducted from the full season league. The discount is automatically applied in the shopping cart before you check out.
Discount for students
The Rose City Curling Club offers discounted curling fees to junior and senior high school students as well as college/university students. For a team of junior and/or senior high school students to enter a league, the cost is $500 per team. A team of college or university students registered in a league is $750 per team. If a student wishes to enter into a league with other non-student curlers (for example, their parents), the fee for the league will be adjusted using the same percentage as if they were curling with a student team. For junior/senior high school students, the percentage is approximately a 58% discount and for college/university students, the percentage is 37.5%. These discounts will automatically be applied in the online registration system when enrolling a student in a league.
Locker Rental – Full season – $40
Locker Rental – Half season or student – $20

Lockers are available for rent on a first come, first served basis. The locker room is co-ed and the Rose City Curling Club will not be held responsible for any lost or stolen personal belongings while the curler is on any part of the premises. A combination lock or another comparable lock is strongly recommended and must be provided by the person renting the locker. If you rented a locker last year and wish to keep the same locker, please provide the locker number in the appropriate field on the registration form.
