  Youth Leagues
Monday afternoons 4:15 to 6:15 pm. Registration fees are $200 per student for the full season or $100 per student for a half season (either before or after Christmas). The sessions begin with a warm up to practice the curling slide and balance. Players will then play a curling game and this will evolve into a curling league with fixed teams for the last half of the season beginning in January 2020.
Super League
Sponsored by

Monday nights at 7:00 pm. This competitive league is made up of teams of any Female/Male combination. Registration fee is $600+GST per team. After completion of a Round Robin, playoffs will consist of dividing the total number of teams in half based on their win/loss record. The team that finished first in each pool will play the last place team in their pool; second place plays the second last place; etc. Single knock-out until the winners of each pool are decided.

Tuesday and Thursday afternoons from 1:30 to 3:30 pm. Registration fee is $300+GST per person full season; $150+GST per person half season. This drop in league targets any and all curlers with varying levels of skills and abilities. Although we encourage anyone who is able to join the full league that runs every Tuesday and Thursday afternoon, we also offer the option to drop as available. The drop in fee is $10+GST/game. This social league creates teams every session based on the curlers present, allowing all curlers to meet and socialize with new people every week! We also encourage anyone interested in stick curling to come out and try it! We have staff members on site who know how to use a stick and would be excited and enthusiastic about sharing that knowledge. If you do not have the required equipment, the Rose City Curling Club has sticks, brooms, and sliders available for use, all that is required is a clean pair of shoes!

Curlers in this league typically have some curling experience, as this is one of the RCCC’s more competitive leagues. Spares are welcome in this league.

Christmas

Wednesday evenings from 7:00 to 8:30 pm. Registration fee $285+GST per person full season; $135+GST per person before Christmas; $150+GST per person after Christmas. This Social League was created to gather friends, co-workers, family members, and others together and remember what the spirit of curling is all about. This league is strictly non-competitive, with members only playing 6 ends of curling in an open team style. All teams will play one another, no win/loss records will be kept. Teams can be any combination of males/females and adults/youths. Anyone who is interested, but does not have a team may register as an individual and will be placed on a team requiring players.

Curling experience is not necessary as there are always staff or other members around who are eager to share their love of this sport with new and enthusiastic individuals. Curling equipment is not necessary. The Rose City Curling Club will provide brooms, sliders, sticks and any other necessary equipment. The only thing required from members is appropriate clothing and clean, indoor shoes!

NOTE: The 5th or additional players are only required to register his or her profile and it will be the responsibility of all the team members to divide the total team costs evenly. The Rose City Curling Club will only collect the full registration fees from 4 players on any one team. The 5th or additional players are not required to submit the Volunteer Fee but are invited and encouraged to select a volunteer task from the list provided on the registration form.

NEW Mixed Doubles
Wednesday
The Rose City Curling Club will create a Mixed Doubles League if enough interest is shown. We will require at least 4 teams in order to create a league with a round robin draw. Mixed Doubles is a 2-person team that provides curlers an opportunity to play with their best friend, curling adversaries and even spouses. Teams can be mixed, of the same gender, young or mature curlers. Games are approximately 1.25 hours in length and having some curling experience would be useful. New to the Mixed Doubles format? Check out this video from CBC.ca or Curling Canada’s website for a quick overview. Contact the Club Manager if you know of a team that would be interested in joining.
 Youth
Technical Training
Thursday afternoons from 4:15 to 5:15 pm for approximately 10 weeks. Registration fee is $100 per student. These sessions provide technical training on how to curl that focuses on delivery, balance and sweeping. This training is also available for Special Olympics athletes interested in learning more about the sport of curling. Special Olympics athletes click HERE for more information.
Open Team
Thursday evenings from 7:00 to 9:00 pm. Registration fee is $300+GST per person for approximately twenty 8-end games. This league runs in a full season, round robin format with playoffs at the end of the year. Every team will accumulate points throughout the season based on number of wins, losses, and ties. Teams can be made up of any number/combination of male and female players. Curlers in this league typically have some curling experience, as this is one of the RCCC’s more competitive leagues. Spares are welcome in this league.
5th or additional players – Any League

A team may consist of more than 4 players. The 5th or additional players are required to register his or her profile but it will be the responsibility of all the team members to divide the total team costs evenly. The Rose City Curling Club will only collect the full registration fees from 4 players on any one team.

The 5th or additional players are not required to submit the Volunteer Fee but are invited to select a volunteer task from the list provided on the registration form.

Spare Registry
All Rose City Curling Club members who are playing in a league are allowed to spare in any other league free of charge. If a curler wishes to spare who is not curling in another league, they will need to register with a curler profile to have their name placed on the spare list for the leagues of their choice. A text box is available on the registration form to note the leagues and/or days of the week they are available to spare. There is no fee to spare. Spares are not required to submit the Volunteer Fee but are invited to select a volunteer task from the list provided on the registration form.
Discount for students
The Rose City Curling Club offers discounted curling fees to junior and senior high school students as well as college/university students. For a team of junior and/or senior high school students to enter a league, the cost is $500+GST per team. A team of college or university students registered in a league is $750+GST per team. If a student wishes to enter into a league with other non-student curlers (for example, their parents), the fee for the league will be adjusted using the same percentage as if they were curling with a student team. For junior/senior high school students, the percentage is approximately a 58% discount and for college/university students, the percentage is 37.5%. These discounts will automatically be applied in the online registration system when enrolling a student in a league.
Locker Rental – Full season – $40+GST
Locker Rental – Half season or student – $20+GST

Lockers are available for rent on a first come, first served basis. The locker room is co-ed and the Rose City Curling Club will not be held responsible for any lost or stolen personal belongings while the curler is on any part of the premises. A combination lock or another comparable lock is strongly recommended and must be provided by the person renting the locker. If you rented a locker last year and wish to keep the same locker, please provide the locker number in the appropriate field on the registration form.
