Comedy Curl Jam
Friday 14 October 2022, 06:30pm

Curl Jams are all about Curling Fun! Celebrate the start of the season and enjoy a hilarious comedy show with us!

  • Short non competitive game of Dice Curling made for everyone to play curling!
  • Giggle the night away at the comedy show in our very own lounge!
  • Snacks included
  • 50/50 and prize draws to be won!

Opener: Brad Semotiuk is a comedian who has kissed 12 girls and 3 boys, which he thinks is pretty good. Brad combines storytelling with absurd jokes to deliver a fun and silly take on life. Brad may look young, but that’s only because he is. Brad has been described as “fun to watch” by a stranger he met after a show once, but don’t take that stranger’s word for it, come see for yourself!

Headliner: Dave Nystrom has performed stand up all over the world, including a tour of the United Kingdom, HBO's prestigious US Comedy Arts Festival in Aspen, Colorado, filmed a stand up special for Comedy Central in New York and his own one hour TV special for the Canadian Comedy Network. In 2006 he was brought on as a writer for CBC’s “This Hour has 22 Minutes” during which he won a Canadian Comedy Award and a Writer’s Guild of Canada Award. He once delivered a baby… when he was a baby. And it is said that dolphins will pay to swim with him. Dave is now back home after living in Los Angeles for 10 years, where he has worked with the likes of Robin Williams, Dane Cook, Bob Saget, Patton Oswalt, and Harland Williams among others. He has also written for National Lampoon, wrote the special features on the Anniversary BluRay Edition of the cult movie “Office Space”, filmed a pilot for VH1 and has four children who are slowly trying to kill him.
