2024-25 Bonspiels
Seniors Bonspiel

November 29th and 30th, 2024 - Fees $400/team
The Farmers Bonspiel is a small town curling club classic! Originally this bonspiel was meant for farmers and local businesses to get together and have a great weekend curling. We have opened it up to include anyone who wants to be included in a fun weekend! There are no restrictions on age, experience level, or team configuration. We do recommend that players have a basic understanding of the game to participate in the event.
Your fee will include:
- A minimum of 3 curling games
- A banquet dinner
- Payouts and silent auction
January 17th and 18th - Fees TBA
One of our most sucessful events over the past few seasons, this bonspiel combines the best of two worlds - golf and curling! There are no restrictions on age, experience level, or team configuration. Anyone and everyone is welcome. This bonspiel fills up quickly and spots are limited, so be sure to to enter quickly when registry opens for this event.
Your fee will include:
- Breakfast, lunch, and dinner
- 3 six end curling games
- 1 round of 18 holes virtual golf

January 31st and February 1st - Fees TBA
A fun weekend meant for curlers of all ages and experience levels. We have replaced the classic Men's, Ladies, and Mixed Bonspiels with one open event. There are no restrictions on age, experience level, or team configuration. We do recommend that players have a basic understanding of the game to participate in the event.
Your fee will include:
- A minimum of 3 curling games
- A banquet dinner
- Payouts and prizes

Glow Curl Jam
October 18th, 2024 - Fees $120.00 per team
Curl Jams are all about fun! This event was started last season and proved to be so popular its going to be an annual event. Dress up in your brightest outfit while you curl under the glow of black lights and fantastic music. Anyone is welcome. We do recommend that players have a basic understanding of the game to participate in the event. Spots are limited and this event fills up quickly
Your fee includes:
- Non-competitive game of Dice Curling
- Fun trivia and "Name that Tune" our RCCC lounge afterwards
- Snacks
- Prizes
December 20, 2024 - Fees $120.00 per team
Come out and enjoy some recreational curling and holiday themed entertainment. Festive outfits are encouraged.

- A short, non-competitive game of Dice Curling
- Entertainment and trivia (TBD)

February 17th (10am -12pm) , 2025 - FREE!
Every year on Family Day Monday, the Rose City Curling Club opens its doors to families from Camrose and the surrounding area. Anyone and everyone is welcome to come out and try curling! No equipment? No problem! We can provide your family with brooms, grips and sliders. We do require you to bring clean indoors shoes and a helmet for anyone under the age of 12.

2024/25 Programs
October 17,2024 6:30-8pm Fees FREE!
A two hour lesson on the A-Z of curling. These lessons are open to people of all ages and are recommended for those with little to no curling knowledge. These lessons will teach you enough about the sport that you will be able to join a recreation event or bonspiel. We provide brooms, grips and sliders. We ask that you provide clean indoor shoes and a CSA approved helmet for anyone under the age of 12.
A minimum of 4 people are required for the program to run.
Start Date: November 20, 2024 - Fees $150.00+$17.00 Curling Alberta fees
Do you have a youngster interested in trying curling? This is the perfect program for them to give it a try!
The U8 Little Rockers Program is a non-competitive program specifically designed for kids 6-8, with little to no curling experience. This is our ideal starting point for all young curlers as the program is tailored to a young age and basic experience level,. This 12 week program is designed to familiarize all participants with on ice safety, the playing surface, and the basics of the sport. The goal of this program is FUN! While we will aim to teach as much as we can, our goal is to make sure each participant enjoys their time on the ice.
Please note that a CSA approved helmet is mandatory for all program participants under the age of 12 years old.
Start Date: October 30, 2024- Fees $225.00 + $17.00 Curling Alberta fees
Do you have a youngster interested in trying curling? Has your child been an active participant in the RCCC U8 Program and are now ready to move up? This is the perfect program for them!
The U12 Curling Program is a non-competitive program specifically designed for kids between the ages of 8 - 12 years. While this program is intended for youth who have had some experience with the game - ideally those who have participated in our U8 Program - we welcome kids of all skill levels! This 14 week program is a step up from our U8 Little Rockers Program, with a little more focus on the skills, etiquette, and strategy of the game. The goal at the end of this program is for everyone to have the skills and knowledge to be able to play basic and/or modified games, while still having fun in the process. Although this program is slightly more advanced than our U8 Program, the basics will still be taught and reviewed as needed.
Please note that a CSA approved helmet is mandatory for all program participants under the age of 12 years old.
Start Date: October 30, 2024 - Fees $250.00 + $17.00 Curling Alberta fees
Do you have a teen interested in trying curling? Has your child been an active participant in the RCCC U8 or U12 Program(s) and are now ready to move up? This is the program for them!
The U18 Curling Program is a non-competitive program specifically designed for kids between the ages of 12-18 years. This program is designed for older youth with at least some basic curling experience. This 14 week program is a step up from our U8 and U12 Programs, with more focus on specific curling skills, techniques, strategy, and gameplay.
This program is also the place for any Middle and High School Curlers. We have combined our School Curling Program with our previoius Junior Program to create one place for all U18 Curlers. If your child is part of a school curling program and is interested in more help with their skills, this is the perfect place for them!
