League and Membership Coordinators - Ben & Chyvonne Knockleby

Ben and Chyvonne Knockleby over see the daily operations at the RCCC. They have been residents and business owners in Camrose for over 25 years.  They enjoy the close-knit community of the club and how accessible the sport of curling is to all ages and abilities. When not at the club they enjoy spending time with their friends and family.

Area Mananger - Sarah Brown

Sarah has worked for Tim's Ice Manufacturing for two full seasons as the Manager of the Avonair Curling Club in Edmonton. This season her role has been expanded to include the oversite of the operation of the Rose City Curling Club, the Avonair Curling Club, and the Beaumont Curling Club.

Sarah is extremely passionate about the sport of curling, particularly grass-roots curling. Her favorite way to be involved with the sport - besides playing it - is teaching beginners.

Besides curling, Sarah loves to travel. She has been privilaged enough to travel to Ireland, Scotland, Switzerland, Costa Rica, Egypt, Panama, and others! She was even fortunate enough to get to curl in a Mixed Doubles event in Switzerland - one of the absolute highlights of her travel experiences.

If you have questions about the RCCC, or need assistance that cannot be provided by the Club and Membership Coordinator, please reach out to Sarah!

Head Ice Technician - Matt Yeo

We are pleased to, once again, have Tim’s Ice Manufacturing overseeing our icemaking this season. Founders Matt Yeo and Kyle Winters are excited to be back on board with the RCCC.

You could say that Matt’s second home growing up was an arena. He spent his childhood in and out of curling and hockey rinks, mentored by his father Tim Yeo; a well known and respected ice maker for over 45 years. Matt loves the sport of curling, and it shows in his passion for his work and his support of the curling community.

When Matt isn't busy making ice, curling, and taking on every other aspect of the sport, he can be found spending time with his family at the lake, or out on the golf course.

Ice Technician - Kyle Winters

Tim's Ice Manufacturing Co-Founder Kyle, grew up in Gibbons and started working under Tim Yeo more than 10 years ago helping to install both hockey and curling ice. Together with Matt, they have performed ice installs ranging from the Ottewell outdoor community hockey rink to the 2017 Ford Men’s World Curling Championship.

Though he does curl, playing the sport is not the driving factor for him. His passion lies in providing quality ice conditions for the players to appreciate the sport.

Kyle spends his summers at the golf course as a golf pro.
