Tuesday/Thursday Afternoon Adult Drop In

A League for anyone!

About the League

The RCCC's only day league - this league is open to anyone with a free afternoon! Participants can choose to pay a standard league fee and come to as many Tuesday/Thursday curling sessions as they want. There is also the option to pay for a punch card, or pay by the day.

This league creates teams randomly each day based on the participants that drop in - so the teams are always different. This makes it easy to meet new people throughout the season.

This league is organized and operated by the Adult Afternoon Curling League executive team. If you are interested in joining or have questions, please contact the club directly and we will put you in touch!

Who Can Join?

This league is for anyone with a Tuesday or Thursday afternoon free!

While the majority of curlers in this league have prior curling experience, only a basic understanding of the game is needed to come out and have fun! We recommend joining a Try Curling session, or organizing a Private/Group Lesson prior to registering for the league.

What do I Need to Bring?

Just yourself!

If you have curling equipment, please bring that along. If you do not have curling equipment, that is not a dealbreaker!

The RCCC has grippers, sliders, stabilizers, sticks, and brooms available to anyone who needs them.

Otherwise, all players are responsible for bringing clean, indoor shoes and appropriate clothing (loose, stretchy pants and layers). Helmets are not required for adults, but participants are encouraged to consider helmet use or other forms of head protection if not completely comfortable on the ice.

Please note: Clean shoes are mandatory. It is extremely important that shoes worn outside in the snow, water, and gravel not come on to our curling ice. The RCCC does not have spare shoes on hand at the club. If a participant comes to the event with inappropriate shoes, they will not be permitted to participate on the ice.

Where are we Located?

Suite 5, 4412 – 56th Street, Camrose, Alberta, T4V 5K4 - On the North side of the Encana Arena.

While the rink can be accessed through the main entrance of the recreation facility, the preferred entrance is on the north side of the building. Curlers can park in the north side gravel parking lot.

We hope that we have convinced you to come out and give this league a chance. See you on the ice!
