Monday Afternoon - Sturling
Sturling! Heard of it? Yes or no, you should give it a shot! Sturling is a new discipline of curling where teams only require two people and sliding and sweeping is not a requirement. This is a perfect game for anyone with lower mobility. The Rose City Curling Club has several members who have taken a liking to the sport of Sturling and are eager and excited to teach anyone and everyone how to play.
Monday afternoons 7:00 to 9:00 pm. This league has been changed from the Afternoon drop-in format to an evening open fixed team league to help promote curlers trying sturling. Registration fee is $187 per person full season; $93.50 per person half season + $13 Curling AB fee.
Monday Afternoon - Junior League
The first 5 weeks (Technical Training Lessons) will take place on Monday afternoons 4:30 to 5:30 pm before the league moves into a two hour session 4:15 to 6:15 where Juniors will have the ability to play games against each other as well as focus their training on specific aspects of their game. Registration fees are $187 per student for the full season or $93.50 per student for a half season (either before or after Christmas). Students will also have to pay the $13 Curling AB fee.

Monday Evening - Open Doubles
Monday evenings at 7:00 pm. Registration fee is $187 per person full season; $93.50 per person half season + $13 Curling AB fee. A league for anyone who has ever wanted to give doubles a try! Doubles curling is the fastest growing dicipline in curling today. Fast paced and exciting, this is a great league for those nervous about the numbers of people associated with four person curling teams. Unsure about the rules of Doubles Curling? Rules are posted at the curling club and a member on the ice will alway be happy to help!
Tuesday Evening - Men's & Women's League
Tuesday evenings from 7:00 to 9:00 pm. Registration fee is $312 per person. This league runs in a full season, round robin format with playoffs at the end of the year. Every team will accumulate points throughout the season based on number of wins, losses, and ties. Teams can be made up of male or female players. Curlers in this league typically have more curling experience, as this is one of the RCCC’s more competitive leagues. Spares are welcome in this league.
Tues/Thurs Afternoon - Adult Drop-In
Tuesday and Thursday afternoons from 1:30 to 3:30 pm. Registration fee is $312 per person full season; $156 per person half season. This drop in league targets any and all curlers of varying ages and skill levels, with the majority of participants being 55+. Participants can opt to pay a one time membership and league fee and curl an unlimited number of games in this league throughout the season. Or, if preferred, all participants have the option to pay by the game. The fee for a single game is $10/game + a $13 Membership Fee.
This league creates teams each day based on the curlers present, offering all players the unique opportunity to meet, curl, and socialize with new people every week! The members of this league are welcoming and excited to have new people come out to curl. Anyone who is interested in stick curling is encouraged to come out and give it a try! Many members stick curl and are more than willing to share their expertise. There are also staff members on site familiar with stick curling who can help with any questions. If you do not own curling equipment, please do not let that deter you! The Rose City Curling Club has grippers, sliders, brooms, stabilizers, and sticks available for use. All that is required of you is appropriate clothing and a clean pair of shoes!
Wednesday Afternoon - Coop Kids Club Little Rockers
Wednesday afternoons 4:30 to 5:30 pm for a total of 15 weeks. Registration fee is $150 . This non-competitive program is for kids ages 6 to 12 years and teaches the sport of curling. Athletes will have all kinds of fun aiming for the button! A CSA approved helmet is mandatory for Little Rockers.
The Little Rockers Curling Program is a non-competitive program where kids ages 6 to 12 can learn the sport of curling. The perfect program for the brand new young curlers. The youth in our community is the future of our wonderful sport, and this is the perfect opportunity to get your child into the world of Curling. This 15 week program is designed to get you familiar with ice sport safety and courtesies, as well as basics of the sport of curling such as sliding and sweeping techniques.
Program Details
1-hour sessions once a week for 15 weeks
Wednesdays from 4:30 – 5:30 pm
Registration: $150 per person (includes water bottle and league sweater)
Wednesday Evening - Augustana 6-pack league
This is our brand new curling opportunity for the students of the Augustana campus to get involved in curling, Wednesdays at 7:00pm. Great for those who are looking for a weekly social activity to break from school.
The benefits of becoming a casual college curler include: One free drink after your game every Wednesday! Having an excellent social space for your friends to share some laughs and drinks after playing one of Canadas cherished sports. Thursday Evening - Open League
Thursday evenings from 7:00 to 9:00 pm. Registration fee is $312 per person full season; $150 per person half season. This league runs in a full season, round robin format with playoffs at the end of the year. Every team will accumulate points throughout the season based on number of wins, losses, and ties. Teams can be made up of any number/combination of male and female players. Curlers in this league typically range from minimal to alot of curling experience, this league is all about enjoying the hobby of curling and having a night out! This league is perfect for getting into curling or those looking to curl for fun! Spares are welcome in this league.
